Local Rules 

1.  OUT OF BOUNDS
A ball is out of bounds if it lies:
a) Beyond any fence bounding the course.
b) Over any line of white posts.
c) On or over any tarmacadam footpath boarding the course.
d) Over the posts surrounding the car park to the left of the 16th hole.
e) On the practice putting green.

2.   WATER HAZARDS
The ditch to the right of the 16th fairway is a Lateral Water Hazard (rule 26-1 c). All other trenches and ditches on the course and the boating lake are Water Hazards.

3.   IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS

a) All Paths are immovable obstructions, from which relief under rule 24-2b is permitted.
b) Sprinkler heads. All fixed sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions and relief under rule 24-2b is permitted.
c) Protective screen 10th hole. Not withstanding rule 24-2 if the fence to the right of the green intervenes on the line of play, the ball may be lifted and dropped in one of the two dropping zones. The selection of zone is dependant on the relative position of the ball. The dropping zone to the rear of the green must only be used if the ball lies beyond the red painted fence post. Alternatively the ball may be played as it lies.
d) 'Ball Stop1 fencing on the 3rd, 4th, 8th and 10th tees are immovable obstructions and relief from interference by them may be obtained under rule 24-2 is permitted.

4)   STONES IN BUNKERS
Stones in bunkers are movable obstructions (Rule 24-1).

5)   COURSE PROTECTION                                                                      
A ball lying within the enclosure of young trees, to the right of the 5th and to the left of th 6th and 9th fairways (apart from out of bounds areas) must be lifted and dropped outside the enclosure at the nearest point of relief, not nearer the hole, without penalty.

6)  STAKED TREES
A ball that lies so close to a staked tree that the tree interferes with the stance or the area of intended swing must be dropped clear of the tree under the provision of (Rule 24-2).

 7) GROUND UNDER REPAIR
Play is prohibited from any area marked ground under repair.
